Civil-Military Cooperation

MPAT Tempest Express Exercises & MNF SOP Workshops

The Multinational Planning Augmentation Team (MPAT) conducts a series of multilateral exercises and workshops to develop and test the Multinational Force Standing Operating Procedures (MNF SOP). COE supports MPAT’s events when they address military support to civilian-led humanitarian operations by providing to MPAT subject matter expertise while, concurrently, providing to COE with a multinational audience of military planners for instruction on military support to civilian-led humanitarian assistance operations under IASC / UN guidelines.
