Mark Brackins
Systems Engineer

Mark has a Master of Science degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Theology. He is the engineer in charge of the data and information systems at COE. Before coming to the Center for Excellence, Mark had worked as the Director of Information Systems for Hawaii's largest homeless agency, the Executive Director of a non-profit Catholic organization (where he still serves on the Board of Directors), and teaching Computer Science, Spanish, and Religion.

Mark is happily married to his lovely wife Kristen and they have three beautiful children. He has lived in Hawaii the majority of his life; however, he spent his childhood in Europe, Puerto Rico and Minnesota. He is a native speaker of English and Spanish, and can hold conversations in other languages as well.
