Kim
Holzman
Special Project Advisor
Kim Hom Holzman joined the Center of Excellence in January 2002
as a Special Projects Advisor. Kim is currently working on two projects:
the development of an interagency information network and the Center's
HIV/AIDS initiative.
Kim has over ten years experience in international development,
focusing on program development, project design, management, and
evaluation, and resource mobilization for the U.S. Agency for International
Development, UNICEF, and other UN Agencies. Prior to working in
the international arena, she was with U.S. General Accounting Office
for eight years, evaluating U.S. domestic housing and food policies
and management initiatives.
As a member of a Foreign Service family, Kim has lived and worked
abroad for twelve years in developing countries --- Ghana, India,
Pakistan, and Bangladesh. These were all culturally fascinating
and exciting postings for Kim, a sociologist whose has earned a
M.Phil. and M.A. from Columbia University.
